Camp Verde Dance and Fitness Studio Policy

Camp Verde Dance and Fitness has been in business for 8 years and have students from 4yrs to 75yrs and every age in between. We pride ourselves on providing a fun, safe performing arts experience for all students! Spread the word to the people you know about Camp Verde Dance and Fitness-if they register, you will receive one-month free tuition!

Camp Verde Dance and Fitness Studio Policies:

In order to participate in our recitals, dancers must attend at least 1 class per week in order to perform in our spring show or winter production of the Nutcracker. There is no refund of tuition or costume fees. 

Costumes will be provided to dancers. 

Costumes cost the studio anywhere from $50-$400. 

While wearing one of our costumes, please be careful not to rip, or damage the costume. 

Costume rental/cleaning fee: $30 per dancer. 

All fees must be paid prior to receiving your costume & to participate in the recital.

Membership dues: Membership dues are due on the 1st of each month. 

No discount of dues for illness, injury, or vacation.

We accept credit card, check, cash.

Drop in rate: $17 per class.

Student's Code of Ethics

I will arrive 10 minutes early to class.

I will wear the proper dance attire or be prepared to sit out of class.

I will wear my hair pulled back neatly and securely off my face.

I will use the restroom before, between or after class.

I will serve as a proper role model to the younger dancers at all times, using language and behavior which is appropriate.

I will respect my parents and teachers at all times before, during and after dance class.

I will not talk in class while my instructor is giving instructions.

I will be polite to all students, staff and instructors at all times.

I will arrive at performances with all accessories, props and designated shoes and with costumes stitched and ready.

I will wear the hairstyle requested by my dance teacher.

I will bring my dance supplies and water only into the studio rooms.

All students will keep their dance area clean and keep track of their costumes, accessories and shoes while performing on stage.

I will act with proper dance etiquette at all times.

I understand that I can be dismissed from class for misbehavior.

Twinkle Toes dancers have option to perform in one or both shows.   

Be on time to class! Tardiness is disruptive.

Dress Code: All dancers must wear pink tights, black leotard, pink ballet shoes. (Cardio Dance class can wear leggings and t-shirt) NO booty shorts or crop tops! 

The dress code will be enforced.

Hair must be pulled up and away from the face. Long hair must be up.

NO bracelets or necklaces. NO gum or food allowed in dance class. 

Twinkle Toes Ballet Kids: Pink ballet tights, black leotard, pink ballet shoes, black ballet skirt.

Ballet 1 Technique: Pink ballet tights, black leotard, pink ballet shoes, black ballet skirt.

Twinkle Toes Tap Kids: Tap shoes with nails or screws protruding will not be allowed in class until repaired. Parents, please inspect your dancers tap shoes regularly.

Regular attendance is a MUST from all dancers! I realize some absents are unavoidable.

Dancers may be at the studio up to 15 minutes prior to their class time.

Dancer Responsibilities: (Parents please read with your dancer before the season begins)

Please be properly dressed and on time for class. Tights are required for ballet.

Please use the restroom before class because it takes time out of class (unless it is an emergency).

Please be quiet in the lobby so you do not disrupt the class in session.

Cell phones must be left in the dancer's bag and must be turned off or on silent mode. There will be no use of cell phones during class. Please have parents call the studio at 928-499-2619 to speak with a student during class if it’s an emergency. 

Please do not correct the teacher or other dancers.

Being disrespectful to the teacher will be a dismissal of class. No refund.

Please raise your hand to speak.

Please do not touch the mirrors or hang on the barre.

Please enter the studio quietly and sit down until the teacher instructs you further.

Failure to not follow the rules and or written instruction from your teacher will result in being excused from class.

Please be positive and proceed with a “can do” attitude.

We expect greatness from every student. If you walk in with a great attitude, you will be a great dancer!
